Issues by displaying the report
This guide is part of our Advanced Order Export for WooCommerce troubleshooting series. The Set up fields block determines which columns appear in your report.
Even a small configuration mistake can cause duplicate rows in the final export.
Duplicate rows in order export
By default, the plugin repeats common order information for each product (line item) inside the order. This is especially noticeable if every row of your export shows identical billing details for multiple products.
Look at the screenshot. Order #82 has three rows. Same customer. Same order date. Different products.
Row 1: Album (quantity 1)
Row 2: Beanie (quantity 2)
Row 3: Beanie with Logo (quantity 5)
Billing details repeat on every line. That’s normal behavior.
But sometimes you don’t want that. Maybe you need one row per order. Not one row per product.
Why This Happens
The Set up fields block controls which columns appear in your report.
A small configuration mistake causes unintended duplication.
By default, the plugin repeats common order information for each product inside the order. Billing address, order date, and customer name show up for every product row.
Solution
- Open the Set up fields section.
- Switch “Add Products As” mode.
