Rules Settings

Setting up a discount rule? The Advanced Dynamic Pricing for WooCommerce plugin gives you fine-grained control. Let’s walk through each setting.

Date Range

From – To. Set start and end dates for your discount. Pick from the calendar dropdown.

Default is Unlimited (no end date).

Example: A Black Friday sale from November 13 to November 20, 2023. Rule stops working automatically after November 20.

Activated by Coupon (PRO)

Enter a coupon name to activate the rule. Customers must enter this code.

Important: Use a unique coupon name. Don’t duplicate existing WooCommerce coupons.

Example: Create a “2=1” rule (buy 2, get 1 free). Set coupon name “twoforone.”

Customer adds 2 beanies to cart. Nothing happens. Enters coupon “twoforone.” Free beanie appears automatically.

Look at the cart:

The free product appears only when the coupon applied.

Can Be Applied

Choose how many times the rule runs per cart. Default is Unlimited.

Example with “2=1” rule: Set Can be applied to 1. Customer buys 4 beanies. Rule applies only once. One free beanie. Not two.

Let’s change our previous rule “2=1”:

What in the cart: the rule has stopped execution after executing 2 times:

Apply at First To

Choose which products get discounted first:

• As appears in cart – First product in cart gets discount first.
• Expensive products – Highest price products discounted first.
• Cheap products – Lowest price products discounted first.

Example: Cart has €20 beanie and €50 jacket. “Expensive products” setting applies discount to jacket first.

Add Products to Cart at Normal Cost and Show Discount as Coupon

Turn on this checkbox. Products sell at full price. Discount appears as a separate coupon line.

Create a rule, that give a gift for any product and secret 30% discount by a coupon “product”.

Look at the cart. The 30% discount shows as a coupon, and the price of the Beanie is not striked.
